This little organ work draws together material that was left over when I revised my big organ work San Polyphony in 2006. It also refers to a farm in the Karoo near Nieu Bethesda, where friends hosted us in 1998. The larger part of their farm had been sold and we stayed at 'The Rest'. Apart from anything, it was very restful.
