Programme note
If I had wings I could fly is a traditional Ugandan amadinda xylophone piece characterised by the pentatonic scale and interlocking rhythm. In this arrangement, all the parts are played by one musician, though it is possible for two musicians to play the piece an octave apart on two pianos.
